Pi is a powerful coding agent, but it’s tied to your terminal. Close the tab, lose the session. Pi Server fixes that: it wraps pi in a WebSocket-accessible daemon. Connect your terminal, work with the agent, disconnect, reconnect later and pick up where you left off.

The foundation for remote agent access — run pi on a powerful server, connect from a laptop. Also the building block for web dashboards, mobile clients, and multi-agent orchestration where sessions need to outlive any single connection.
